About me

Howdy, I'm Jamie!

I'm a Texas-raised former educator turned UX designer focused on crafting joyful and helpful experiences. After completing my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction, I decided to take my curiosity for design beyond education. Much like I had been crafting learning experiences to meet my student's needs, I now craft digital experiences to meet user needs. Although my path to design may seem a bit winding, the skills that I picked up in education, curriculum design, and writing along the way are invaluable. Check out the journey in my resume below!

I love transforming products by considering a wide range of user needs while working to bridge the gap between these needs and business goals. We are all unique individuals with needs that match this extreme variety, but ultimately we all just want to feel listened to and cared for. When caring attention meets authentic curiosity designs are changed for the better.

Some work, some play

Outside of work, you can catch me snuggling pups, diving into a book, snapping photos, creating digital illustrations, and running amok in any bit of nature that I stumble across!
